Hichki Review: The latest movie of Bollywood starring Rani Mukherji releases on March 23, 2018. Here, we are with the Hichki film review. Rani is making her comeback in the movie industry after enjoying the blessing of motherhood. Her last flick was Mardaani (2014), was released after her secret marriage with Aditya Chopra.
The versatile actress, Rani performed really well and garned appreciation for her part in Mardaani. After that, she took a long gap of four years and then, appeared in Hicki. But, the 40-year-old actress is once again back to show her talent and dazzle the silver screen.
In this movie, Rani portrays a teacher suffering from Tourette Syndrome. The film is the portrayal of the hardships she faces in her profession because of the problem. It also shows the process of overcoming of the negative impacts of her condition. As you may already know, the trailer got rave reviews.
Hichki Review
The movie has been directed by Sidharth P Malhotra. Most of the story depends on Rani’s character and playing the lead role, she has done a marvellous job by impressing the audience with her performance.
The critics have praised both Rani and the director – Rani for her amazing acting skills and director for the flawless narration. The movie has got a good reception by both viewers and critics.
Hichki Box office collection
The film stands just on the shoulders of Rani Mukherji and doesn’t have a series of stars. It’s a content based simple movie. So, it seems that it won’t be making a grand opening at the worldwide box office. If the film receives a good word of mouth publicity, then it would make a decent growth over the first weekend.
Speaking of the first day collection, Hichki would earn around Rs. 3 crore (domestic). It is going to enjoy a solo release. Raid starring Ajay Devgn is going to be its strongest competitor this week. Raid has been earning good since its release.

As already told, the trailer has received good responses from the viewers. Rani has opted for such a tough role and played it convincingly. The blended-in light moments has seamlessly made it more interesting.
