The 34-year-old Hilary went nude for the cover. She wore nothing but a smile. She enjoyed the photoshoot to the fullest, posed in the buff and revealed her tattoos during the shoot inside a pool.
The ‘How I Met Your Father’ star told the magazine that she had a horrifying eating disorder at 17. Since then, she has gotten herself to today, where she is proud of her body. And it encouraged her to show it off for Women Health.
Duff was proud when she told me that she had been blessed with three children. She has gotten to a place where she is peaceful with her body and the changes that her body has gone through. She is the mother of three kids – Luca (10), Banks (3), and Mae (1). Hilary also said that there was a makeup artist who put glow all over her body during the photo shoot. She continued to add that some put her in the most flattering position.
Hilary Duff said that she had reached today’s peaceful place after delivering her second child. She is now a divorcee, so she doesn’t know if she will have another child. Being a mother brings a whole mix of things, Hilary added.
She continued to add that she gained a lot of respect for her body at the age of 34. The body helped her to go anywhere she wanted to. According to her, she is getting more confident with age. She seems proud of two things – first, being a woman, and second of all the things that a woman’s body goes through throughout her lifetime.
In the magazine, it is also stated how Hilary Duff prepared herself for the naked photoshoot. Per actor, she started working out a month before the shoot. The workout was scheduled for about an hour four times a week. It included squats, lunges, dumbbell rows, and focusing on lean muscle mass.
During this month, she claimed to have slept better and felt better. Meanwhile, she also went on to play tennis, and after the photoshoot, she reduced the intensity of the workout.
