Sooraj Pancholi, who is making his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Hero’ said that “The Original Hero” Jackie Shroff has rejected the offer to watch the special screening of the film and instead he will prefer to watch it in the theater by purchasing a ticket.
Sooraj was having an interaction with the media after the special screening of his upcoming movie, then he shared this with media.
Jackie Shroff & Sooraj Pancholi Togther“I asked Jackie sir, why are not you coming inside for the screening. He said, ‘bachcha, I have come only to give you blessings. I’ll watch the film in the theater by spending my money.”
A special screening of the movie Hero was done where many Bollywood stars came up to watch the film directed by Nikhil Advani.
“Jackie uncle came during the screening to give his blessings to us which matters a lot to us. I also felt really good that his picture with Sooraj recently posted on Twitter, which is a special moment”. Athiya Shetty, lead actress and daughter of superstar Sunil Shetty told reporters.
Hero movie was originally released back in 1983 in which Jackie Shroff was the lead actor and the film was directed by Subhash Ghai and was a huge success at that time and it helped in giving Jackie a huge stardom.
This time, it’s an official remake of the flick in which the lead stars are Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. It is the debut movie for both of them.
Salman Khan is the producer of the film and he himself has sung the title track of the film.
The movie is all set to release on September 11.
