Overlord Season 3 Episode 1 Release Date

The Overlord s3e1 was originally intended to be aired on July 7, 2018. But, it got postponed and got a new air date for July 10. It happened because the last installment has been released just a few months back and we are not going to see the action right from the season’s start. The second installment ended in April 2018.

Before going through the Overlord 3 episode 1 spoilers, let’s talk about the good and the bad news for the anime fans. The good news is that Overlord anime season 3 is already here and we are not going to wait for the next three years.

The bad news is that we don’t know when the season 4 of Overlord will be releasing. Whenever it would be released, we won’t be getting it anytime soon. The main reason behind it is the fact that there isn’t enough manga content to adapt it into the sequel to anime series.

The Overlord manga, now, requires a few years of time/content/chapters in order to make content available for anime and catch up with it. We are expecting a time gap of around two years, at least, for the fourth installment to air.

Overlord Season 3 Episode 1 Update

As per the sources, Overlord season 3 will be adapted from the volume 9 of the manga series. In this upcoming installment, we will get to watch a total of 13 episodes. The trailer for season 3 features Gazef Stronoff, the Warrior-Captain of the Re-Estize Kingdom, challenging Lord Momonga in a one-on-one fight.

We are expecting to see the same as the base of the first episode. We have another mixed news. According to the Overlord’s author, he has got around 50 volumes worth of ideas for the manga. But, he won’t be drafting the story for all ideas. He is planning to end the light novel series around volume 20.
