Sanju 7th day collection report for its performance at the box office in its 1st week is available here. Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic Bollywood movie Sanju has taken the worldwide BO by storm. The directorial of Rajkumar Hirani earned Rs. 18.90 cr on Wednesday (6th day of its release).
So far, the 6 days total collection stands at Rs. 186.41 cr in India. The widely known trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted Sanju will cross the mark of Rs. 200 cr soon. And then, it will be Ranbir Kapoor’s first film to enter the coveted 200 cr Club.

- Saturday – Rs. 38.60 cr
- Sunday – Rs. 46.71 crore
- Monday – Rs. 25.35 cr
- Tuesday – Rs. 22.10 crore

Going by the trend and if Sanju manages to keep up with its momentum, then it will surely cross the 200 crore mark. It is very clear that the movie is fairing very well on the weekdays too. It will soon be entitled to the blockbuster status.
Besides Ranbir, the film features Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Jim Sarbh in important roles. Sanju made the record of highest opening for any Hindi film in 2018. Also, it became the highest single day earner on its third day.
Like many other films, the flick got leaked online and was making rounds on the internet. The director, Hirani, himself thanked the audience for not watching the leaked version. In a section of his Facebook post, he thanked people for being exceptional human beings, for understanding the sweat, blood, and tears in making a movie, and awaken conscience for not watching and asking others not to watch the leaked film.
On the seventh day, (Thursday), it opened to an average occupancy of 25% in the morning. There has been a nominal drop of 10% approx. from yesterday. Overall, the film is rock steady and performing. It has crossed the lifetime collection of Race 3 starring Salman Khan in lead role.

It seems that Raj Kumar Hirani has got the perfect mixture for making a blockbuster movie. This is his fifth film after Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, and PK. It has proved to be very successful.
The lifetime collections of Ranbir’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (Rs. 188.57) has already been surpassed by this moment. Though Sanju’s reviews have not been as glorious as Rajkumar’s other films have been, but the word of mouth has been exceptional.
If the film happens to get the All Time Blockbuster film tag, then it will have to collect at least Rs. 80 cr in its second week and get the total earnings close to Rs. 350 crore mark. It was released on around 4300 screens and will retain more than 3700 screens in its second week. It will be a record in itself.
