Govardhan Puja 2017 Meaning
Gowardhan Puja also popularly known as Annakut Puja in many areas of India. On this day food made of cereals like wheat, rice, curry made of gram flour and leafy vegetables are cooked and offered to Lord Krishna.

Govardhan Pooja is followed by making Govardhan from cow dung in the morning. In many places, it is made alike human beings and decorated with flowers, vendors etc. Govardhan is worshiped in the evening. Pooja is used in Dhoop, lamp, Nadyadya, water, fruits, flowers, Kheel, Batasha etc.
In Govardhan, the oanga (Apamarg) is essentially kept. After the worship, seven parikramas of Govardhan are being said in their respect.
