Punjabi Singer and ‘Khalistan Sympathizer’ shot dead in India after Opposition Withdrew his Security

Punjabi Singer Sidhu Mosse Wala is known for his songs ‘Old School’, ‘Kala Boose’, and ‘295’ shot dead in broad daylight today after the ruling government withdrew his security. Mosse Wala stood against the ruling party (AAP) in Punjab State Elections and lost miserably to the winning candidates.

He was awarded an Indian National Congress Party ticket by Party Chief Rahul Gandhi in 2022 to fight elections against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Candidate. However, he lost terribly in the state elections and wished the best to the winning candidate. After a few days, His security cover provided by State Govt was withdrawn by the ruling party.

Ironically enough he was termed as ‘Khalistan Sympathizer’ by right-wing Indian Media websites. He faced sanctions under IPC 295 as Representatives of Sikh organizations filed a complaint against him in 2019. Since then, Sidhu remained a hot topic in Indian politics. His song ‘295’ became a big hit among the youngsters after he was charged for ‘Speaking Truth’.
