Stephen Zabielski Wiki Bio: The Russian invasion of Ukraine took another toll on Americans as the American Veteran Stephen Zabielski who volunteered to fight alongside Ukrainian forces, tripped into a landmine while being transferred from the Village of Dorozhniank.

Stephen Zabielski also known as Stephen D. Zabielski belong to Hernando, Florida. He grew up in Cranesville, New York. He was born on 1st July 1969. Stephen was supposed to be celebrating his 53rd birthday this July.

He tripped on a landmine while fighting alongside Ukrainian armed forces in the Village of Dorozhniank, Ukraine. He was born in Amsterdam, NY to the Zabielski couple, late Edward S. Zabielski and Joan K. (Vitus) Zabielski.

He remained in the area for years until 2018, Stephen Zabielskiwas, graduated from the Amsterdam High School.

Stephen worked as a construction worker and supervisor for almost 30 years of his life. He was involved in many projects in Amsterdam, New York. Among his hobbies, Zabielski enjoyed hunting, fishing, & riding his motorbike Harley. Tributes poured for the American hero who died in the Ukrainian war.

Stephen lived in a large family involving many other members.

Stephen Zabielski is survived by his wife, Fran Zabielski, and five stepchildren, Cody Pine, Austin Pine, Heather Hartenfels, Christina Hartenfels, & Francesa Hartenfels along with seven siblings, Theresa A. Zabielski, Edward J. Zabielski, Carrielynn (Zabielski) Soodol, Sandra M. (Zabielski) Spagnola, Robert F. Zabielski, Tami R. (Zabielski) Beaudette, & Pamela J. Zabielski. He also had an extensive family of one grandchild, eight nieces, six nephews, many cousins, and extended family members.

The family is holding a private funeral this week. His remains are expected to transfer on a chartered flight later this month.
